6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Nick Mullens was just 18-for-32 with 221 passing yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in Week 12’s loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Excluding running back Matt Breida, the Niners offense fell flat against one of the worst defenses in football. Mullens was harassed all day, absorbing four sacks and unable to get anything going downfield with veteran receivers Marquise Goodwin (personal) and Pierre Garcon (knee) inactive. Since his booming debut in Week 9, Mullens’ play has worsened in two consecutive starts. He’ll only be a deep QB2 option in Week 13 against the Seattle Seahawks.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
