6 years agoCarolina Hurricanes goaltender Curtis McElhinney allowed just one goal on 49 shots in Tuesday's 2-1 road win against the Montreal Canadiens. It was quite the show the backstop put on, as he has won four consecutive starts while allowing just five total goals. At 7-2-0 with a 2.12 goals-against average and .930 save percentage, McElhinney has emerged as a No. 2 fantasy netminder in most formats. Bench boss Rod Brind'Amour is likely to keep riding the hot hand Friday at home against the Anaheim Ducks.--Daniel Dobish
