6 years agoCharlotte Hornets shooting guard Malik Monk has been ruled out for the second half of Wednesday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets due to a quad injury. Monk logged eight minutes in the first half, scoring two points while adding three assists and one rebound. Monk delivered a career-high 26-point performance against the Hawks on Sunday, unable to bottle the same magic this time around. His absence could lead to more minutes on the wing for Miles Bridges and Dwayne Bacon off the bench.--Jesse Borek
