6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves small/power forward Robert Covington led the charge during Wednesday’s victory over the San Antonio Spurs with 21 points and nine rebounds across 31 minutes. Make that back-to-back 20-point games for Covington, who had just one 20-point game in his 13 contests as a member of the 76ers this year. He added nine rebounds and four made triples, having now attempted 7.5 threes per game since joining Minnesota. His marksmanship will be put to the test Saturday against the Boston Celtics, who have held opponents to 32.1 percent shooting from deep, the second-best mark in the league.--Jesse Borek
