George Kittle Thriving Despite Poor Quarterback Play
6 years agoThrough 12 weeks, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has been a fixture atop receiving leaderboards. He’s 18th overall in receiving yards (823), third amongst tight ends in yards per catch (14.7) and has 10 plays of at least 20 yards. Despite questionable quarterback play all season, Kittle has continued posting all-pro numbers. While the Niners square off against a stingy Seattle Seahawks pass defense in Week 13, Kittle should continue reaping the majority of targets with Marquise Goodwin (personal) and Pierre Garcon (knee) questionable. With 22 targets over his last two games, Kittle is a matchup and quarterback-proof set-and-forget TE1.
