Tyreke Evans Plays Season-High 29 Minutes
6 years agoIndiana Pacers shooting guard/small forward Tyreke Evans drew another start in place of the injured Victor Oladipo and finished with 12 points, four assists and two rebounds across a season-high 29 minutes. While Evans has shifted into the starting lineup, his role hasn’t changed all that dramatically. He is still struggling mightily from the field to the tune of a career-worst 37.1 percent, while also averaging what would be career lows in rebounds (2.8) and assists (2.6). His appeal remains because of his past and potential upside, but rostering Evans long-term is a determination that will have to be made over the next handful of games.
