6 years agoGreen Bay Packers running back Jamaal Williams was unable to convert his opportunities in Week 13 into much production. With cold and snowy playing conditions and against an Arizona Cardinals defense that has struggled versus the run, Green Bay clearly wanted to focus its offensive attack around the running game. This meant that Williams actually got a fair amount of work after having been mostly relegated to special teams over the past few weeks. However, he ran for only 13 yards on seven carries. He added four catches for 14 yards. This game demonstrates the problem with Williams in fantasy. Although his role on the offense would grow if anything were to happen to starting running back Aaron Jones, it is unclear if Williams would be able to do anything with the additional opportunity. Williams should not be owned in most fantasy formats and should not be started in any format at any point going forward.--Tyger McGuiggan
