6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers rookie running back Jeffery Wilson handled 15 carries for 61 yards while contributing eight catches for 73 yards in Week 13 against the Seattle Seahawks. He also lost one fumble. Promoted from the practice squad in Week 12, Wilson dominated the Niners backfield in touches with running back Matt Breida (ankle) aggravating an injury in pregame warmups. Breida played in Week 13 but with his lingering ankle issues, Wilson has likely carved out a meaningful role in the Niners running attack. With Alfred Morris a healthy scratch for the second straight week, Wilson is seemingly the next man up. He’s worth a pickup in all leagues and would slot in as an RB3 if Breida misses time.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
