6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard/small forward Andrew Wiggins finally awoke from his slumber Wednesday against the Charlotte Hornets, scoring a season-high 26 points on 11-for-19 shooting. It’s the first time that Wiggins has eclipsed the 20-point mark since Nov. 16, having averaged just 11.3 points per game over his last eight contests. It was an all-around excellent showing for Wiggins, who tied season highs with six rebounds and five assists, making Wednesday his best fantasy showing of the season by a hefty margin.--Jesse Borek
