6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Anthony Davis helped key his team to a convincing win over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, finishing with 27 points to go along with a season-high nine assists. Davis also tied his season high in blocks with five, which he has now reached on five separate occasions, currently in the midst of a six-game multi-block streak. Davis snatched a season-low four rebounds, which will certainly stick out in a season as dominant as his, but Julius Randle securing 18 rebounds had more to do with that than any long-term rebounding concerns. Davis draws a stingy showdown with the Memphis Grizzlies come Friday, who have feasted on slowing down opposing big men this season.--Jesse Borek
