6 years agoFree-agent point guard Jawun Evans signed a two-way contract with the Phoenix Suns on Friday. Evans had been playing with the Northern Arizona Suns of the NBA G League, where he was averaging 18.5 points, 4.6 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game across 14 contests. Evans spent his rookie season with the Los Angeles Clippers in 2017-18, whom he made four starts and appeared in 48 contests for. An All-American in college at Oklahoma State, Evans looks to scoop up some of the available point guard minutes in Phoenix alongside Elie Okobo and De’Anthony Melton with Devin Booker currently on the shelf.--Jesse Borek
