6 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers defenseman Ivan Provorov picked up a goal while posting an impressive plus-five rating in Saturday's 6-2 road win against the Buffalo Sabres. The rearguard entered the day with a dismal minus-4 rating through his first 26 outings, but with one strong game he took care of that and is back in black. The Russian defenseman had a breakout season with 17 goals and 41 points across 82 games last year, but he has tailed off a bit this season. While he didn't manage any blocked shots or hits, that's normally his calling card. He has 34 hits and 53 blocked shots through 27 outings to help fantasy owners.--Daniel Dobish
