6 years agoDenver Nuggets point guard Monte Morris logged 30 minutes off the bench during Saturday’s loss to the Atlanta Hawks and took full advantage of his time on the court, recording a career-high five steals to go along with 10 points and seven assists. It was a rocky shooting performance -- 4-for-14 overall -- but with Jamal Murray banged up, Morris stepped in and ran the show for Denver. Should Murray miss any time with his forearm/shin issues, Morris would become a must-play, as he has shown a propensity for piling up assists when given the chance.--Jesse Borek
