6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers point guard/small forward Ben Simmons logged a team-high 38 minutes during Friday’s loss to the Indiana Pacers, finishing with 18 points and nine rebounds, but just four assists. The low assist number marks just the fourth time this season Simmons has recorded four dimes or fewer in a contest. But the scoring total makes it the fourth consecutive outing with at least 18 points for the Aussie, who sits at 15.7 points per game on the year, nearly identical to the 15.8 he averaged as a rookie. A walking double-double threat, Simmons draws a match-up Sunday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, who have had a tough time slowing down opposing point guards this season.--Jesse Borek
