George Kittle Plays Well In Tough Matchup
6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle collected seven balls on 12 targets for 74 yards in Week 16 against the Chicago Bears. His targets led the team and Kittle was able to consistently find holes in the daunting Chicago Bears secondary, including a long grab of 35 yards on the day. However, the Niners were shut down in the second half as the Bears dominated time of possession, limiting opportunities for Kittle and all other skill players. The second-year stud now has 79 catches for 1,228 yards on the season to accompany four touchdowns. He’s become a no-brainer top-three TE1 and will look to finish 2018 on a high note when the 49ers take on the Los Angeles Rams in Week 17.
