George Kittle Makes History
6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle racked up 149 yards and a touchdown on nine catches in Week 17 against the Los Angeles Rams. Kittle made history by setting the single-season yardage record for tight ends with 1,377 yards. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce broke the record just earlier in the day but Kittle usurped him with a late 43-yard grab which he raced for his fifth score. With the phenomenal season, Kittle was likely a common denominator on many fantasy championship teams. Now that the secret’s out on the 25-year-old, he’ll be a locked-in top-3 tight end option heading into 2019.
