6 years agoToronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews tallied a goal and an assist during a 3-2 overtime loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Friday night. Matthews has seen his offensive production taper off a bit to start 2019, but he remains an elite fantasy option. The 21-year-old has 22 goals and 23 assists through only 36 games. He should be rolled out with confidence any time he takes the ice. Patrick Marleau also produced a goal and an assist in the loss while newcomer Jake Muzzin managed two blocks in 18:08 of ice time. The Maple Leafs will face the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
