6 years agoMilwaukee Bucks forwards Stanley Johnson, Jason Smith and four second-round picks have been traded to the New Orleans Pelicans for power forward Nikola Mirotic Thursday as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Johnson was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks just yesterday from the Detroit Pistons in a separate deal. Johnson was originally selected by the Pistons in the first round of the 2015 draft and is still young at just 22 years of age will likely get minutes for the Pelicans at both small and power forward positions. Johnson has averaged this season 7.5 points with 3.6 rebounds a contest. Smith, on the other hand, hasn't gotten much action as he is only playing 9.4 minutes a game. Next up for the Pelicans are the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday, expect both players to sit because of travel and then getting a chance to meet their new teammates.--Matt Sparkington - RotoBaller
