6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward Nikola Mirotic has been sent to the Milwaukee Bucks Thursday in a trade that sent forwards Stanley Johnson and Jason Smith to the New Orleans Pelicans as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Mirotic has been out since January 24th with a calf injury but before that, he had averaged 16.7 points and 8.3 rebounds in 32 games. Both of those marks are career highs for Mirotic. The Bucks will likely be playing Mirotic less than the 28.9 minutes a contest he was getting for the Pelicans but should still be a solid contributor. The Milwaukee Bucks next play the Dallas Mavericks on Friday. With Mirotic's injury status and traveling to his new team don't expect Mirotic to play Friday.--Matt Sparkington - RotoBaller
