6 years agoDetroit Red Wings defenseman Dennis Cholowski will be a healthy scratch against the Nashville Predators on Tuesday night. This decision coincides with the return of Trevor Daley (foot) who has been out since December 29. Cholowski has had a rocky rookie season, combining fantastic stretches of play with defensive inconsistencies. He has seven goals, nine assists, and nine power-play points through 52 games to go along with a minus-20 rating. He looks like he could be a promising fantasy blueliner in future years, but has minimal value in 2018-19.
