FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (3/24/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

The FanDuel "Main Slate" begins at 7 pm (eastern) with only four games to choose from. As the playoffs inch closer, many teams will start to play around with their rotations, especially those teams who have already locked up a bid, or for those who will be sitting out this year and have nothing to play for. We also have some injuries to monitor as Aron Baynes, Al Horford, Gordon Hayward, Jayson Tatum, LeBron James, Harry Giles, and Josh Hart have either already been ruled out, or currently in jeopardy of not playing. As the day progresses on Sunday, especially as we reach opening tip, there will likely be some more names that pop up at the last moment, notably for rest purposes, especially for those who are playing the second of a back-to-back. In terms of Vegas,  Sacramento/LA Lakers leads the way with a projected combined score of 228.5 points followed closely by Houston/New Orleans at 227.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/24/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. Remember to check your lineups before tipoff for injury updates.

FanDuel DFS Guards

James Harden - SG, @ NOP ($12,600)

As the Rockets look to catch the Warriors for the second seed, which likely won't happen, while attempting to fend off the Trail Blazers for the third spot, Harden and company still have much to play for. As a result, look for the former MVP to get a full allotment of minutes against a Pelicans team that he has played well against this season, averaging 32 points, 9.7 boards, 7.3 assists, and 3.3 steals. Make him the focal point of your lineup on Sunday.

Chris Paul - PG, @ NOP ($8,200)

Paul is very reasonably priced on Sunday, considering that the Pelicans are allowing 49.16 fantasy points per game to the one guard this season. Though De'Aaron Fox and Elfrid Payton have both been productive, their consistency on the fantasy end of things has been somewhat concerning with both hitting their respective values in less than 18 percent of their games on the year.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Anthony Davis - PF, vs. HOU ($7,800)

Davis wasn't in the lineup against the Orlando Magic a few nights ago due to personal reasons, but will likely get the start against Houston. With his days in New Orleans probably coming to an end this offseason, he still has value on the fantasy front right now, averaging 39.98 fantasy points in his last four appearances. He hasn't been getting a ton of minutes, but he will remain productive nonetheless when he is on the court.

Harrison Barnes - SF, @ LAL ($5,700)

Barnes will have his occasional struggles, but he has a high ceiling on Sunday in a game with the Lakers. With a massive pace of 107.98 possessions in this one, the highest by far on the slate, there will be plenty of shots to go around for Barnes and the rest of his crew to accumulate some significant fantasy point totals.

FanDuel DFS Centers

JaVale McGee - C, vs. SAC ($6,300)

After accumulating 75 fantasy points out of nowhere against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night, McGee has a promising outlook against a Sacramento team that struggles underneath the basket. The 31-year-old has been getting his fair share of minutes as of late and if LeBron is out of the lineup on Sunday, look for him to pick up some of the slack.
