The Padres surprised the league earlier this week by adding Tatis to the major league roster to begin the season. He'll face San Francisco Giants left-handed ace Madison Bumgarner. The 20-year-old will likely get regular starts if he proves he can handle big league pitching with consistency. Baseball’s No. 2 prospect cracked 16 homers and swiped 16 bases while posting a .862 OPS last season in Double-A.
