6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman Cody Bellinger went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and three runs scored in Sunday's 8-7 victory against the Arizona Diamondbacks. It's early, but he pulled into the league lead with Oakland Athletics designated Khris Davis for the league lead in homers with four. He swatted just 25 homers in 2018 after cracking 39 in 2017. It appears he is on track to be closer to those 2017 numbers after his hot start. He'll look to keep it going on Monday night against Drew Pomeranz and the San Francisco Giants.--Daniel Dobish
