Alexandar Georgiev Blanks Fly Guys In Philly
6 years agoNew York Rangers goaltender Alexandar Georgiev stopped all 29 shots he faced in Sunday's 3-0 road victory against the Philadelphia Flyers. The shutout was Georgiev's second of the season, and helped the Blueshirts avert a season sweep against the Flyers, which would have been the first once since the 1984-85 season. It also helped New York snap a six-game losing skid against Philly. The Rangers are back in action on Monday in New Jersey, and it's likely Henrik Lundqvist makes that start despite Georgiev's heroics on Sunday.
