6 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers concluded a strong opening series on Sunday, collecting two singles and a walk in four plate appearances. Myers homered on Opening Day and proceeded to amass six hits, two steals and five runs-plus-RBI in the first four games of the year. With the spotlight on new third baseman Manny Machado and rookie shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr., Myers was the team’s best player over the weekend, posting a 1.303 OPS. Finally settled in the outfield with a supporting offensive cast, Myers could challenge the career years he posted in 2016 and 2017 if he maintains his health. The 28-year-old has the upside to be a five-category fantasy contributor.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
