6 years agoFlorida Panthers center Vincent Trocheck registered a pair of goals with six shots on net and a minor penalty in Monday's 5-3 victory against the Washington Capitals. With two-goal night he reached 100 goals for his NHL career, and he helped the Panthers sweep the defending Stanley Cup champs. His second goal was also the team's second shorthanded goal in the past two games, and the third this season. He'll look to finish up strong Thursday against the New York Islanders, and Saturday against the New Jersey Devils. He has 10 goals and 33 points, and he'll be a decent late-round pick next season.--Daniel Dobish
