6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks first baseman Christian Walker was hitless in four at-bats with a strikeout in Wednesday's 4-1 road loss against the San Diego Padres. In this game, first baseman Jake Lamb, who was making the start at third base, suffered a strained left quadriceps running the bases in the ninth inning. If he is forced to the 10-day injured list it would open up regular at-bats and playing time for Walker. Until Wednesday's game he has been red hot, and he has emerged as a must-start in all NL-only fantasy leagues, most mixed formats and as a decent option in DFS while running hot.--Daniel Dobish
