6 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Matt Strahm dropped to 0-2 after Sunday’s loss to the St. Louis Cardinals. Strahm was decent through five innings, allowing four hits, two walks and two runs (one earned) but struck out just two. Strahm was victimized by an error in the fourth inning which led to two decisive runs scoring for the Cards. Through two starts, Strahm holds a 7.04 ERA, 2.22 WHIP and 4.7 K/9. The 27-year-old was a fantasy darling during spring training but so far has not looked the part. The Padres trust Strahm and lack rotation depth, so he’ll continue receiving regular starts. He should be kept on fantasy benches next Friday against the Arizona Diamondbacks.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
