Brian Goodwin Continues To Swing A Hot Bat
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Brian Goodwin went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's 7-2 victory against the Texas Rangers. The no-doubter traveled 453 feet with a launch angle of 26.91 and an exit velocity of 108 mph against reliever Shawn Kelley in the bottom of the seventh inning. Goodwin is off to a great start, going 8-for-20 (.400) while collecting at least one hit in each of his past five at-bats. He'll look to keep it cooking on Monday night against Jhoulys Chacin and the visiting Milwaukee Brewers. He has emerged as a solid play in AL-only fantasy formats while Justin Upton (toe) is on the shelf.
