6 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story (calf) left Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers after being hit by a pitch on the right calf. He was able to stay in the game initially and attempted to make it from first to third base before being gunned down by Cody Bellinger on a strike to Justin Turner. Perhaps it was the lopsided score on the board which prompted manager Bud Black to lift him for some extra medical attention. Since he stayed in, do not expect Story's injury to be serious and force him to miss time.--Daniel Dobish
