Fernando Tatis Jr. Sparks Comeback Victory
6 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. went 1-for-2 with a two-run homer Monday against the San Francisco Giants. Tatis went deep in the fifth inning for his third long ball to kickstart the Friars comeback victory. He was also hit twice by pitches and scored an additional run. Entrenched at sixth in the batting order, the 20-year-old top prospect is slashing .237/.341/.526 and every indication shows he belongs in the majors. Tatis should be universally owned in fantasy leagues and is worth DFS consideration Tuesday against Giants left-hander Derek Holland. He doubled and walked in his two plate appearances against Holland on March 29.
