Trevor Cahill Sharp In His Home Debut For Halos
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Trevor Cahill allowed just two earned runs while scattering five hits and a walk with eight strikeouts over six innings in a victory against the Milwaukee Brewers in his home debut. He threw 59 of his 90 pitches for strikes in the quality start, and he tossed first-pitch strikes to 17 of the 24 batters he faced while also hitting a batter. After a shaky outing in Oakland on March 28, he has turned in quality starts over his past two outings. He is a decent AL-only fantasy play and an occasional mixed league option when the matchup is favorable or he has a two-start scoring period like this week. His next scheduled start is set for Sunday at Wrigley Field against the Chicago Cubs.
