6 years agoColumbus Blue Jackets defenseman Seth Jones scored the game-winning goal on the power play at 14:05 of the third period in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals in Wednesday's 4-3 victory against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Defenseman Zach Werenski and left wing Artemi Panarin chipped in with the assists, as the Blue Jackets sprung the upset and fired out to a 1-0 series lead. There is plenty of hockey remaining, and the series resumes Friday in Tampa. Remember, the Blue Jackets have zero playoff series wins in franchise history.--Daniel Dobish
