David Hess Takes Loss Friday In Decent Start
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher David Hess fell to 1-2 in Friday's 6-4 loss to the Red Sox. Hess allowed three runs on six hits (including a solo home run) and no walks with three strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings pitched. The 25-year-old has gotten off to a good start this season with a 3.32 ERA, but his four home runs allowed and 15 strikeouts over 19 innings leave something to be desired. Hess is scheduled to face the hot Rays on the road in his next start and should be avoided by fantasy players.
