6 years agoThe Milwaukee Brewers acquired catcher David Freitas from the Seattle Mariners in exchange for minor-leaguer Sal Biasi on Sunday. Freitas will report to the team's Triple-A affiliate in San Antonio. He was also added to the 40-man roster, with the team transferring closer Corey Knebel (elbow) from the 10-day to 60-day injured list. Freitas is basically in the same boat he was in with the Mariners, serving as organizational depth. He'll need an injury to Yasmani Grandal or Manny Pina to get the call. There's no fantasy appeal here.--Daniel Dobish
