Fernando Tatis Jr. Stuffs Scorecard
6 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. finished 1-for-3 with a homer, two walks and three stolen bases in Thursday’s loss against the Cincinnati Reds. The Padres offense has swooned lately but Tatis remains a bright spot, slashing .296/.370/.606 with 24 runs-plus-RBI. He’s up to six dingers and four steals on the year. The 20-year-old’s stolen bags could have been ruled as defensive indifference but for now it stands as called. Riding an eight-game hitting streak, Tatis continues to fit the bill as an uber-prospect and stalwart fantasy asset.
