DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers
Tyler Glasnow - P, vs BOS ($10,100)
Glasnow doesn't throw a ton of pitches, but his elite accuracy has allowed him to throw deep into games. He owns an elite 23.1% K/BB rate, while allowing one or fewer walks in each of his four starts. He gets a solid matchup against the Boston Red Sox in an extremely pitcher friendly stadium. While Boston doesn't strikeout at an elite rate, Glasnow has double-digit strikeout potential on any given slate. He's a -112 favorite in a game set at 8 runs tonight, as well.
Chris Archer - P, vs SF ($8,900)
Archer has performed extremely well early this season, posting a 3.29 xFIP and a 3.27 SIERA. He has also recorded an elite 34.3% strikeout rate, although his walk rate is a bit high, as well. He gets an elite matchup against the San Fransisco Giants, who have struggled with team wOBA this season. Archer is a sizable favorite in a game set at only 7 runs, and he makes one of the better options on the slate.
DraftKings DFS Infielders
Francisco Cervelli - C, vs SF ($3,200)
Cervelli has been ice cold to start the season, but he comes in an elite position. He's expected to hit third in the Pittsburgh Pirates lineup, and he comes with an extremely low price tag. Cervelli gets a plus matchup against Dereck Rodriguez, and he has been at his best against right-handed pitching. He certainly comes with risk, but he's one of the best punt options at this position.
Chris Davis - 1B, vs MIN ($2,600)
Davis is another punt option, but he has quietly been performing well recently. He has posted double-digit fantasy points in three of his last five games, while posting 50% hard-hit and 40% fly ball rates with a 94 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. Davis' surface numbers are far from elite, but he will continue to see positive regression. He's absurdly priced, and can be used in all leagues for the time being.
Robinson Cano - 2B, at STL ($3,600)
Cano is another player that is a bit too cheap for his recent form. He gets a plus matchup against Dakota Hudson, and Cano owns a 0.097 ISO differential against right-handed pitching. He also enters this game with 57% hard-hit and 42% fly ball rates with a 95 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. He's hitting third in the New York Mets lineup, and he is a safe option, who comes with quite a bit of upside, as well.
Alex Bregman - 3B, at TEX ($4,900)
Bregman has been playing at an extremely high level recently, hitting .351 with a .568 slugging percentage and a .999 OPS over his last 10 games. He gets an elite matchup against Shelby Miller in a hitter friendly stadium. Bregman isn't going to come cheap, but he's one of the more consistent options on this slate, while also flashing elite upside. He can be used in all leagues in this matchup.
Jorge Polanco - SS, at BAL ($4,900)
Polanco is another player who isn't going to come cheap, but has been playing at an elite level this season. Through 17 games, he's hitting .369 with a .662 slugging percentage and a 1.094 OPS. He has been at his best against right-handed pitching, posting 0.114 wOBA and 0.054 ISO differentials against righties. Polanco is hitting second in the Twins lineup, and he'll see a boost from the ballpark in this game.
DraftKings DFS Outfielders
David Dahl - OF, vs PHI ($4,900)
Dahl has been heating up a bit recently, posting 54% hard-hit and 45% fly ball rates with a 99 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. While that's a limited sample size, he gets a plus matchup against Jerad Eickhoff, who is far from an elite pitcher. Dahl enters this game with 0.079 wOBA and 0.072 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching, and he can be considered in all leagues.
Michael Brantley - OF, at TEX ($4,600)
Shelby Miller is one of the worst starting pitchers in the MLB, and this is an elite matchup for Brantley. He's expected to hit fourth in the Houston Astros lineup, and they are one of the best offenses on the slate. Brantley has been at his best against right-handed pitching, as well, recording 0.069 wOBA and 0.084 ISO differentials against righties. The Astros are one of the best offenses in the MLB, and Brantley can be considered in all leagues.
