Tyler Skaggs Moving Closer To Mound Return
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Tyler Skaggs (ankle) threw a 40-pitch bullpen session over the weekend and he reported feeling fine. Manager Brad Ausmus said Sunday that he anticipates Skaggs needing one more side session before he is ready to return from the 10-day injured list. "Don't be surprised if I'm toeing that slab again soon," Skaggs added. The team might be cautious with his left ankle, and he might not return without some restrictions, meaning he wouldn't be green lighted for 100 pitches. As such, fantasy owners will probably want to give him a start or two before plugging him back into the active lineup.
