6 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Andrew Cashner took advantage of a favorable matchup and turned in one of his best starts of the year in Tuesday's 9-1 win over the White Sox. Cashner pitched seven innings of one-run ball, allowing five hits and a walk with five strikeouts. The 32-year-old has been decent overall this season with a 4-1 record, a 4.18 ERA, 20 strikeouts, and 13 walks in 32 1/3 innings. Cashner's fantasy value is limited by his high walk rate and low strikeout rate, but he could be streamed against favorable matchups in deeper leagues.
