6 years agoCarolina Hurricanes forwards Micheal Ferland (upper body), Jordan Martinook (lower body) and Andrei Svechnikov (concussion) were unable to play in the Game 1 series opener against the New York Islanders on Friday night. Svechnikov was able to skate on Friday morning, but he remained sidelined since his fight against Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals in Game 3 back in Raleigh. Ferland is also considered day-to-day, while Martinook gutted it out in Game 7 against the Caps but was out in favor of forward Clark Bishop. Avoid all three for DFS purposes heading into Game 2 on Sunday in Brooklyn.--Daniel Dobish
