6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid could not find any rhythm in the series-opening game on Saturday to the Raptors in the loss. Embiid connected on just 5-for-18 shooting to score 16 points as he missed many highly-contested off-balanced shots at the rim and managed to grab just eight rebounds with two assists. The Raptors did an excellent job taking Embiid out of his comfort zone and Marc Gasol was an unreal plus-29 in just 26 minutes as he played most of his minutes when Embiid was on the floor. We know Embiid is banged up, but we can assume he will come out more aggressive in Game 2.--Gianni Costantiello
