6 years agoStewart-Haas Racing's Clint Bowyer is set to go off from the third position in Sunday's starting grid for the GEICO 500 from Talladega Superspeedway. Bowyer hasn't won at Talladega since the Good Sam Club 500 on Oct. 2011, one of his two victories in 26 career starts with 13 of his runs resulting in a Top 10 or better. He also has a 15.6 Average-Finish Position (AFP), fourth-best among all active drivers with five or more Cup starts at the track. He was a runner-up to teammate Aric Almirola last fall at the superspeedway.--Daniel Dobish
