6 years agoTexas Rangers first baseman Ronald Guzman (hamstring) continues to slowly recover from a strained hamstring and he is not expected to be ready to begin a minor-league rehab assignment at the start of the week. Originally the hope was that Guzman would start to play sometime during the week and be ready to return to the big club before the end of the team's current homestand which concludes on May 5. He has been sidelined since April 7.--Daniel Dobish
