6 years agoStewart-Haas Racing's Aric Almirola ended up finishing in ninth place during Sunday's GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway while leading 27 laps. It was a decent showing for Almirola, who was looking to go back-to-back at Talladega after winning the fall race and punching his ticket to the Chase. Still, after qualifying second and tumbling seven spots, it was just so-so from a fantasy perspective. Next up is a trip to Dover. He has 13 career Cup starts at Dover, posting two Top 5s, three Top 10s and 64 laps led with a 16.2 Average-Finish Position.--Daniel Dobish
