6 years agoOakland Athletics infielder/outfielder Mark Canha (wrist) left Sunday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays in the eighth inning due to a sprained right wrist. He will be evaluated further once the team arrives in Boston, manager Bob Melvin announced after the game. "It's been bothering him for a day or so, and he took a few swings and then came in after the inning, and when he went out to first base, he said his wrist was bothering him," Melvin said. "So we'll get him checked out tomorrow or the next day." If you normally rely upon Canha in deeper AL-only fantasy leagues you should reserve him heading into the new week.--Daniel Dobish
