6 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman Matt Olson (hand) is expected to take batting practice on Monday. If he makes it through that session without any issue, he might head out on a minor-league rehab assignment with Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday, manager Bob Melvin said after Sunday's game in Toronto. Olson was injured during the team's opening series against the Mariners over in Japan. Fantasy owners will want to keep him reserved until he can officially return from the 10-day injured list and prove his health in a full game without any setbacks.--Daniel Dobish
