6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard/small forward Rodney Hood came off the bench to provide a spark in Game 1 when he scored 17 points in just 18 minutes of action in the loss. Hood connected on 5-for-10 shooting and added three makes from three with two boards and an assist. The boost from Hood was a big bonus for the Trail Blazers after the wing struggled heavily in the first round. Hood is a tough play because he is so streaky, but he could be a solid punt play for Game 2 if he manages to stay hot.--Gianni Costantiello
