6 years agoThe Oakland Athletics placed first baseman/outfielder Mark Canha (wrist) on the 10-day injured list before Monday's game in Boston due to a sprained right wrist suffered over the weekend. In the corresponding move, the team moved to recall reliever Ryan Buchter from Triple-A Las Vegas. Canha flew to Los Angeles on Monday and he will have an MRI on Tuesday. His loss only matters to those in deeper AL-only fantasy leagues at this point. He pressed pause on the season with a .200 average, two homers and four RBI across 18 games, splitting time between first base, center field and left field.--Daniel Dobish
