6 years agoSan Jose Sharks center Logan Couture registered a hat trick with a plus-three rating, four shots on net, a minor penalty and a hit across 17:20 of ice time over 28 shifts in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday. It was Couture's first career playoff hatty. The three-goal outing included a score over the shoulder of Avalanche goaltender Philipp Grubauer, and it stood up as the game-winning tally. Couture has been on fire in the postseason, posting nine goals with 12 points and a plus-three rating with three power-play goals and an assist on the man advantage in 10 playoff games.
