6 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Sandy Alcantara's struggles continued during the 7-4 loss to the Indians on Wednesday, allowing seven hits, six runs, three walks, and two homers in only 5 1/3 innings of work. Since his first start of the season that saw the 23-year-old allow only four hits throughout eight innings, the righty has allowed 33 hits and 21 runs while collecting four losses in the process. Alcantara is still a work in progress and with the Marlins continuing to struggle offensively, don't look for him to contribute anything significant anytime soon.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
